Spontaneity: A Wonderful Medicine

We decided to take a spontaneous trip to Vancouver, B.C. this weekend. We had a blast! After finally crossing the border into Canada, we went to Stanley Park, took a train ride, and drove around the coast. We also toured through several of the city's districts like the shopping district, Yaletown, and Gastown. We then went to our hotel and went swimming. It was so fun, and so nice to get out of Sea-Town for awhile. Bytheway, has anyone informed our President that it took almost two hours to get into Canada and only about 20 minutes to get back into the US of A? I thought that was interesting, eh?
On Sunday, we went to church and then to one of British Columbia's rain forest parks. This one has a suspension bridge that crosses over this very large ravine. The bridge swings back and forth while you walk on it, so it's a bit freaky - especially since there are many people on the bridge. Supposedly it is safe, and we did have fun. I really loved smelling the rain forest air. After the bridge experience, we drove home. Aaaahhh ... just what the doctor ordered.

Sounds so fun. How did you know how to get around and the cool places to visit? I'll have to get a travel tutorial from you sometime.
