So Mom and Dad Jorg came up for a quick visit and they picked a great weekend. We had really good weather, and the leaves are looking spectacular. Ethan had a blast being the center of attention. On Saturday, we went to a pumpkin patch and some farmer's markets, a.k.a. Pike's, etc., and we did a bunch of other things too.

We went on a ferry ride from Seattle's pier to Bainbridge Island. It was fun to watch the birds just glide and float above us. 
You can see Seattle's skyline in back of us. We really live in a cool city! So we also went to Pike's Market, like I said, and we got some great food at some booth. We bought a bouquet of fall flowers for $5, some great pastries, and we toured some parts of Steve's school. I think the highlight of the weekend was watching my mom squirm about whitening her teeth (but she really wants to do it). She had a million questions, and we all hope Steve's advice and the kit will bring complete satisfaction.

What a fun weekend! You guys are a cute family! Your mom and dad look great too! I want to come and visit in Seattle! Avery and I might just have to do that!
